What We're Looking Forward To: October

{via}

As our Pastor at Church often says, October is my favorite color. Its when the leaves in North Carolina start to change, the air gets crisp. Probably one of our busiest months, each year, because of so many fun outdoorsy things going on around us! This year is no different. This October, we are looking forward to:

- trips to the pumpkin patch
- the NC State Fair
- making all things apple {crisp, pie, cake}
- Railroad Days
- mornings spent playing at the park
- apple cider in a mug
- the Children's Consignment Sale
- trick or treating on base

I've always been a big fan of all things Autumn, and everything that comes along with it. I can't wait to watch the kids paint their pumpkins this year, eat our family style dinner at the farm where we pick those glorious, orange beauties. And spend our afternoons outside, with a sweatshirt on, basking in the sun and breeze. These are the things that make life wonderful!

What about you? What are you looking forward to this month?

  2. Trick or treating on base is the best! We did it a few years ago around a friend's neighborhood & got a ton of candy. Apparently, we live in the good neighborhood, so hopefully the girls can get me lots of good stuff.
