We Pitched Our Tent Beside The Ocean

We're home! Camping was a raging success ... minus one whole day, weather-wise. But we didn't let that dampen our spirits! I mean -- with that ocean view, who cares if it rains one day! We spent some time by the water, spent a lot of time relaxing outside in the fresh air, cooking over a Coleman Stove, and bundled up in blankets when we went to sleep each night. Thankfully, we still have some friends in the area -- so when the rain got too bad, and we were worried we might wind up flooded, we were able to go spend the night hanging out with them, and crashing on their couch. The kids were excited -- because it meant a sleepover with their little friends! My only complaint?! That there is still work to do once you get home! Unpacking the Suburban after a full day hanging out in the sun was exhausting!! But we'll definitely be doing this more next year!
