Memorial Day Monday

{Because these were honestly just too good not to share!}

Happy Memorial Day!

Remember to  take a moment out of your family time and grilling, cornhole and beer drinking, to reflect on exactly WHY we have this day -- for the men and women who have selflessly given their lives so that we can continue on our regular everyday lives in the land of freedom.

M spent the weekend in Charlotte with some guys in our family at the Coca Cola 600 -- so the kids and I hung out around the house for the most part. We left for a little bit Sunday morning to head to church, but otherwise stuck close to home. Which was fine -- the weather was very nice. The only thing better would have been the beach. Wishful thinking, though! Soon!

This week should fly by for us. A few extra days off for M. Hopefully getting the boat up and running. A few rain storms, and hopefully a play date with some friends we had to cancel on recently. And then it will be the weekend and we'll be beach-bound once again.
