Jacksonville or Bust: Our Weekend in Review

What a great weekend we had! We left Friday afternoon for a night in Jacksonville. Our friend's little girl was turning two, so we decided to make a trip out of the birthday party. It was clear we both missed the area -- within five minutes of being in the hotel room, we looked at each other and said "Lets see if they have the room available for another night, and just stay until Sunday!" So we did! We grabbed dinner out with friends, walked around the mall and all the girls got their nails done. We played at the playground, drove around base and remembered this, that and every other memory from years ago. We bought M his birthday present a little early. We had lots of fun at the birthday party -- cake, ice cream and lots of playing. And we definitely had a hard time saying goodbye and coming home yesterday. We will be back, Jacksonville. We will be back!
