36 Years

36 years ago, two high school students were introduced. A boy and a girl, both young, but soon in love. By September, the boy had left for the Army, leaving the girl behind to finish school. That Christmas, he came home and asked her to be his wife. The following June, only a week after graduating, they said 'I Do' and made the mold for all of their kids to follow.

It hasn't always been a smooth ride. There have been bumps, hills and even mountains to journey though. But it isn't everyday, in today's society, that you can say your parents have been married as long as mine have.

So Happy Anniversary, Mom and Dad. How about another 36 years, huh?!
