Menu Planning Monday

This week, we are doing some new, fun, exciting meals. I love to try new foods, new cultures, new ... everything. So we are mixing it up a bit this week with our menu, in hopes of finding some new foods that we all enjoy.

Here's what we are eating:

Monday: Spinach Bacon Alfredo French-bread Pizzas

Tuesday: Tuscan Grilled Pork Chops

Wednesday: Honey Lime Chicken Skewers

Thursday: Creamy Pasta Primavera

Friday: Mexican Rib Eyes with Lime Butter

Saturday: Grilled Chicken with Mediterranean Quinoa Salad

Sunday: Spaghetti with Homemade Meat Sauce and Garlic Bread

** Note -- even if the recipe calls for bread, pasta, etc. we use whole grains. Except for the French Bread Pizza -- but soon enough that will change. If we like the recipe enough, I'll just start baking my own french bread with whole wheat flour. Any anything else processed will more or less be made from scratch, using whole foods and fresh fruits and vegetables.

I am really excited about a lot of our meals this week. Only two are tried and true meals -- the spaghetti and the Pasta Primavera [which is so quick and easy and seriously yummy, since its loaded with tons of fresh veggies!]. But everything else is new and fresh and fun. And should be palate pleasing to the husband, since he's the one with the pickier tastes than me.

Do you have a menu plan for the week? Make sure you go over and link up with Elizabeth and Jane ... check out what other people are cooking up, see who's dinner table you might want to crash, and link up what you are cooking/eating, too!

  1. Omgoodness! Yum! I'm totally looking up the Spinach Bacon Alfredo French-bread Pizzas recipe. Daniel would LOVE that. I've made the skewers before and really liked them!
