5 for Five

Happy Monday, everyone!

It was nice to have a long weekend this last week. Because the 4th fell on a Thursday, my husband only had to take one day off, and was able to enjoy 4 days straight with the family. We still kept things rather lowkey, running errands, replacing a broken sensor on the Hummer, taking the kids to see fireworks, as well as setting off a few of our own at my father in law's house. But what matters most isn't what we did, but the fact that we did it together!

Last week's goals were:

1. Read 20 minutes a day [this will be on here until we actually do it!]
2. Get back to the Gym - we went Monday, Friday and Saturday
3. Drop off bags to Goodwill - It took until Saturday, but it still got done when we went into town.
4. Head to Base for Fireworks - Technically, Base cancelled theirs due to rain, and are making them up at the end of the summer, but we did take the kids to the show in town, and they *loved* it!
5. Mop!

4/5 -- a great week! We had some fun with the fireworks, and got some cleaning done around the house. It felt really good to get back into the gym, too. Unfortunately, they were closed for the 4th holiday, so we lost out on one workout this week, but still managed to get in three good runs! And it felt good -- even if I was still dealing with a bit of sickness.

Onto this week's goals:

1. Read a chapter out of my book - maybe I need to break the goal down a little more. Since 20 minutes doesn't seem to be getting done. One chapter this week. That's not a lot to ask.
2. Check on the Care Credit Account
3. Say farewell to our AF friends who are PCSing this month
4. L's checkup and my own Dentist appointment
5. Make the kids Bentos for their snack before Story Time

What are your goals this week? And remember to head over and link up with Jessica and Jenn!
