5 for Five

Well, the weekend's over, isn't it?!

I hope no one reading this dealt with much damage from Tropical Storm Andrea! Only a handful of days into Hurricane Season, and already feeling the effects. We were lucky here in Eastern NC. There were tornadoes spotted where some of our friends live, but nothing that we could see in our area. We got a lot of rain, and wind. But overall, we fared alright.


1. Finish stripping all the towels 
2. Sign up for the gym 
3. Read 20 minutes a day 
4. Finish the gift and mail out my L & E card. 
5. Take the kids for National Donut Day

Another week of 3 out of 5. The fun things were done, that's for sure. And S and I even did an impromptu craft using donuts and The Letter D. She especially loved that I covered the paper donut in glue and let her shake on real sprinkles to decorate it. And of course -- we spent the afternoon eating our "holiday" treat!

Onto this week's goals:

1. Organize my cookbook shelves in the kitchen and decorate
2. Plant my counter-top garden 
3. Sign up at the Gym 
4. Read 20 minutes a day 
5. Order my Dad's Father's Day gift, and make our gift for M. 

Yea -- I'm keeping the two goals from last week that didn't get finished/accomplished. And they will stick around until they actually get done!
