Liebster Nomination

I recently found out I was nominated for "The Liebster Award" from the adorable Courtney at Air Force Wife and Life  -- you should go check her out! She's a great young Air Force Wife dealing with living a life away from her husband right now -- but seems to have a really positive attitude about it all!

The Rules:

Give 11 Random Facts about You!
Answer the 11 Questions Asked.
Leave a link back to the blogger(s) that nominated you
Nominate bloggers with less than 200 followers and let them know they've been picked!
Write 11 Questions for them to answer!

11 Random Facts:

1. I don't know how to swim.
2. I went to college for Health Science, but don't even know what to do with that degree, really.
3. I gave up all caffeine three years ago.
4. I don't paint my finger nails -- with the kids and housework, they don't last, so there's no point.
5. I'm slightly *obsessed* with Dog the Bounty Hunter.
6. I love to shop at Goodwill and other thrift stores.
7. I don't really like french fries and can never finish them at a restaurant.
8. I cannot stand dusting and will wait until it's out of control before I put a rag to it.
9. I can't remember my multiplication tables beyond the 5's without using my fingers. [Yet I know my 12's!]
10. I love cheesy teen movies, like Prom!
11. Everyone thinks I'm an old lady because my dream [realistic] car is a Lincoln MKZ

The Questions I was asked:

1. What is your favorite song to listen to right now?
Anything by Bruno Mars. I am in lust with that man!

2. Morning Person or Night Person
Morning. I'm awake usually between 4 and 430am most days. It's the only way I'm guarenteed some quiet alone time. And because I wake up early, I go to bed around 10pm.

3. Who is your celebrity look alike?
Oh, Man! My husband would laugh hysterically at this. Because I've been told by a few people that I look like Orlando Bloom's character in Lord of the Rings - with the long blond hair and all.

4. Best/Worst gift you have ever received?
Best: Finding out my son was a boy the weekend of my 25th birthday!
Worst: Nothing! [Granted, we agreed no big gifts that year ... but no card or cake either?! ::sigh::]

5.The best part of waking up is...?
The silence!!

6.Favorite sport to watch?
Boxing ... MMA ... Baseball [but only the Red Sox!]
7.Favorite website?
Pinterest -- such a time suck. But so many good ideas. Just not enough time in the day to do everything!

8.Glasses, contacts or neither?
Neither -- although I'll probably need glasses eventually. My left eye is going all wacky lately.

9.Cup half-empty or half-ful kind of gal?
Either way, there's still something in the glass, right?!

10.Favorite Starbucks drink?
Lately, it's been a Tall Iced Vanilla Decaf Latte with a shot of Caramel.

11.Favorite restaraunt?
Oh MAN! We love this little Mexican place near us -- Torero's. And a Thai place -- Royal Bangkok Thai. If you ask my three year old, everyone in the world should love Golden Corral, though!!

MY Nominees:

And my questions to you ladies:

1. You can travel anywhere at the drop of a hat. Where do you go first?
2. What do you make sure is in your suitcase on said trip?
3. They make a movie of your life. Who do you choose to play you?
4. Who's your biggest man-crush, celebrity wise, right now?
5. If you could only shop at one store for the rest of time, where would you choose?
6. If you could have any super power, what would it be?
7. What's you favorite book?
8. Your last supper -- what do you eat?
9. Summer ... Fall ... Spring ... Winter -- what season makes you happiest?
10. If you could have any job other than what you are currently doing, what would it be?
11. You are walking down the street and find $5. What do you do with it? What if it was $500?

    1. I know some of the people I graduated with are working in clinical research trials. Medical office work. Pretty much we can work behind the scenes in hospitals -- doing the non-clinical stuff. But as much as I thought it would be okay when I was in school, now that I'm starting to grow up [I think?!! ;)] it doesnt sound like a whole lot of a good time.
