That little girl loves to be out on her bike!
We took her out to ride the other day, and it took her a little bit to get the hang of it again, since its been a little while since she last rode. But before long, she was peddling along, and turning the bike around without stopping.
Sadly, this summer has been miserable. We're always dealing with rain and thunderstorms all day and night, or its suddenly so hot and humid, you can barely breathe. So the bike has been parked in the barn.
The other day, though, it was relatively "cool" for July. It was probably in the upper 80s, and felt like it was about 95. And humid. But there were clouds and a light breeze, so we bit the bullet and just got the bike out.
She rode up and down our street a few times, before deciding she was just too hot, and hungry for dinner.
I, for one, cannot wait for somewhat cooler weather, if only so we can get the kids outside more to ride bikes and play in the yard!! I love summer, but not nearly as much as I love fall!
We've had a ton of rain here in New England this summer too...luckily, I spent the majority of the beginning of it in my home state of Texas...where it was 108 AND humid...
